For those who travel to Tokyo and have some time to explore, a must see shop is Akihabara’s legendary Sunshop II. Not only is Sunshop II a fantastic place to shop (a wide assortment of toys, books, videos, rope, and SM gear), it also boasts an amazing collection of mannequins tied by some of Japan’s most elite bakushi! The staff is friendly, though in my experience visiting their English is quite limited. The will do their best to help you find whatever you are looking for. Make sure to check out their magazines on sale, where you can find great bargains!
The shop can be a little tricky to find. In order to get to it, you will need to enter through another store and make you way to back elevator, which will take you up to the 3rd floor and the entrance to Sunshop.
